As you can see, Aragaki Yui obtained 1428 votes = ranked number 1 - Best Actress by a large margin by readers of Myojo magazine 2009 ''Grand Prix''...

The next actress got 636 votes, hence Aragaki Yui won by a landslide :D

I really hope I translated the above cap correctly. I informed hyde about it - hopefully he confirms my translation...

Top 10 Doramas Ratings 2009

Oricon looked at all the ratings of doramas this year and listed the Top10 on their site today. This ranking is about the ratings of single episodes and not about the average rating of a dorama.

The taiga-dorama "Tenchijin" on NHK was the most successful this year and with "JIN" on 2nd place, we once again have the proof that history doramas are way more popular than other standard genres. Overall history, medical and detective doramas are still the most popular on Japanese TV.
